Voters across SD-27 need to read and see on the go that Grace Lee delivers.

Grace Lee is a community organizer, daughter of immigrants, mother of three, and is running for State Senate to deliver a more affordable, livable Lower Manhattan.

Grace has served as the Assemblymember for District 65 since 2023, representing Lower Manhattan, including the Lower East Side, Chinatown, and the Financial District. In that time, she has built a proven record of standing up to the powerful and delivering real results: on housing and childcare affordability, community investment, protecting vulnerable communities, and through high-quality constituent services.

Grace and her husband are raising their three daughters right here in the neighborhood she's fighting for. For her, this has never just been a job — it's home. In the Senate, she will bring that same focus to lowering costs and protecting tenants and vulnerable communities.

Grace Lee is an accomplished legislator. She cuts through the noise and is able to deliver on her promises:

  • Secured nearly $400 million in emergency funding to keep NYCHA and rent-stabilized families in their homes

  • Passed Good Cause Eviction, cut property taxes in half for Mitchell-Lama developments, and pushed to expand affordable housing production across the city

  • Expanded childcare funding and tax credits to put money back in families’ pockets

  • Spearheaded legislation to hold ICE accountable and protect our immigrant neighbors

  • Sponsored legislation to stop developers from converting affordable housing into luxury mansions

  • Strengthened our hate crimes laws for the first time in 20 years to protect minority and LGBTQIA+ communities

  • Secured over $90 million for community-based organizations serving New York’s most vulnerable communities.

  • Led the fight to make Lunar New Year a statewide school holiday

  • Cracked down on scaffolding and worked to get our parks cleaned, get trash off the street, and get graffiti removed
