State Senate District 27
District 27 covers most of Lower Manhattan, home to some of New York City's most iconic and diverse neighborhoods. From the tree-lined streets of the West Village and Greenwich Village to the artists and families of SoHo, Tribeca, and NoHo, the district stretches across communities with deep roots and distinct identities. Further east, Little Italy, Nolita, Chinatown, and the Lower East Side reflect generations of immigrant history that continue to shape the fabric of the city today. To the south, the Financial District, Seaport, and Battery Park sit at the tip of the island — where New York's history began, and its waterfront continues to evolve.
